Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day John! We love you to the moon and back! Thank you for being the best husband and daddy we could ever imagine! Thank you for supporting us, spoiling us, spending time with us, leading us, and most importantly loving us! I thank God for the blessing you are in my life and the wonderful father that you have become. We love you!!

Happy Father's Day to my dad and my father-in-law too! I am truly blessed to have such wonderful men in my life! We love you and wish we could be with yall to celebrate today! Hope you both have a wonderful, relaxing day!

On May 25, 2011 John Ashton turned 15 months, and what a fun, loving, curious little guy he is! We are having lots of fun with this new stage, but he is keeping us very busy....hence the lack in blogging:)!

John Ashton loves to be outside! He enjoys wagon rides, pulling the wagon, throwing his bouncy ball, and riding in his cozy coupe truck. He is quite social and loves to watch people so we have to keep a close eye on him or he tries to sneak off to the neighbors!

Favorite toys are his bubble mower, his sing along popping mower, mickey mouse airplane, golf clubs, cars, and anything in the kitchen cabinets that he can get his hands on!

Favorite foods are fruit, fruit, and more fruit!! Strawberry cereal bars, waffles, okra, squash, zucchini, cooked carrots, steak, beef, ham, raisins, goldfish, popsicles, and anything else he can get his hands on. Not really a picky eater yet! He drinks 3-4 sippy cups of milk a day, but He would much rather have his food than his milk.

He has started climbing on and off the furniture and he is walking like a champ now.

John Ashton loves to dance and will stop whatever he is doing to dance if music is on. Not sure where he gets that!

Favorite Songs are Jesus loves me, 10 little Indians, If your happy and you know it, and I love you love.

Vocabulary is still limited but we are working on it! He says DaDa, MaMa, Uh-Oh, bye-bye, and something that sounds like truck! He waves and even points at times.

He is a busy busy boy and we love it!

7th Annual Patterson Crawfish Boil

We had a Great Weekend at my parents house for the 7th Annual Crawfish Boil. It is always so much fun and the crawfish just keep getting better and better every year!! Thanks John Barry! The kids all had a blast and were outside playing most of the weekend. Between the gator, the jump house, the swing set, and the blow up pool who wouldn't want to to play out there! Thanks mom and dad!!

12 Months!!

So hard to believe that our sweet baby boy is ONE! Wow that year really flew by!! So here are John Ashton's stats and a few 12 month pictures that Kristin Mathis with Funky Junk Designs took for us! She is fabulous and so are the pictures. John Ashton was less than cooperative and very serious that morning, but Kristin got some great shots regardless. Thanks Kristin! We think you are quite talented and can't wait to do anther photo session!

John Ashton's 1st Birthday Party!

Ok so this post is picture overload, but this is the best way to show everyone John Ashton's 1st Birthday. We had a GREAT day and the party was perfect! We invited our family and a few close friends to help us celebrate. John Ashton had a great time and LOVED his chocolate smash cake. I was completely exhausted after the party from all the hard work and planning but I would do it all over again for my sweet little boy. Thanks to everyone who made it such a special day!!
