New Years Eve was quite exciting this year. Grilling out, watching football, and falling alseep before midnight! Luckily Ryan Seacrest helped us celebrate by Ringing in 2010 at 11pm with all of those crazy folks in NYC...gotta love Central Time Zone!! Friday is when all the fun began with Justin & Bethany coming in to spend the weekend. SHOUT OUT to Bethany...one of our many followers on this blog!! Justin and John had a great time watching football, arguing with each other, and playing PlayStation. Bethany and Reagan spent most of their time working around the house and Bethany even got out her new sewing machine and made Baby T some burp cloths!

A Long December...
Well, it is now January, but our first post is mostly about our life over the last several weeks...moving, Christmas, New Years...you get the idea. December was a long and crazy month for both of us as we packed up our stuff (all in the last couple of days because of John's procrastination!!) and moved into our new house in Birmingham. While we were both struggling with leaving our amazing friends and church family in Atlanta, we were equally as excited about the new adventures that home ownership and Birmingham have in store for us! The friends in Atlanta have been such a blessing and we look forward to continuing those relationships. Before leaving the Bagwell's, Chamblee's and Nicholson's had a going away FIESTA for us. Reagan also had a shower at work AND with the church! What an amazing blessing to have such great friends and family!! Baby T should be one happy boy when he gets here!!
Reagan's parents were amazing in the help they gave us unpacking and organizing where all of our stuff (amazing how much you accumulate in only 2+ years of marriage) needed to go. Within just a few days it actually looked like a home we could live in! We also had our first doctor's appointment in Birmingham which was a little stressful to say the least! We found a great doctor, but when she looked at Reagan (all 5'3") and John (6'5") her first comment was, "Well, I think we are going to need a game plan on how to get that little (or not so little) guy out!" Needless to say, Reagan is measuring a little over a week ahead of schedule and Baby T was weighing in at 4.2lbs with 10 weeks left to go!!! All is well though and that is all that really matters, and we are just so excited to add the little man to our family. John's parents joined us for Christmas and we had a great time! They really enjoyed the area and helping us around the house. We were thrilled because Santa brought a grill so John can chip in with the cooking duties! The other big hit of the Christmas season was Twilight on Blu-Ray...you can guess who that one was for. Overall, we were able to just relax and enjoy the time with John's parents.

Saturday we spent the better part of the day watching Ole Miss beat Oklahoma State (even though it was ugly), and Michigan State put up a valiant fight against Texas Tech but came up just short (John made it through his first Spartan loss in the new house without breaking anything!!). Reagan's cousin Lindsay stopped in and stayed the night on her way back from Atlanta too. A full house and a great time! The funniest moment of the weekend had to be when John was saying the prayer and told God, "Take Care"...most people usually say "Amen", but I guess Take Care works too??! We are now just trying to make it through all of the cold weather this week. We thought we left that in Chicago, but I guess we can manage if it is just for a few days...only a few days though! This didn't seem all that hard so there may be new updates in the near future, but it would be a lot cooler if you just came and visited us! Hope all of you enjoyed your Holiday Season and look forward to an exciting year in 2010.
