Well we had the Grand idea of taking John Ashton to a pumpkin patch on Saturday. We were hoping for cool weather but it was 90+ degrees. The farm we went to had lots of fun things to do...a corn maze, pony rides, a petting farm, little John Deer Tractor tricycles for the little ones, and a hayride to the pumpkin patch! Our friends the Davis' met up with us for the hottest hayride and pumpkin picking ever! We did manage to get 3 great pumpkins, a pretty mum, and some cute pictures of the little guy! He was extremely hot but loved watching the crowds. We had lunch at the farm and then rushed back for the big Michigan vs. Michigan State game! John Ashton and I took naps while John paced the floor rooting for the Spartans. We are so glad that the Spartans pulled out a BIG win! It was a HOT but fun day! The pumpkin farm does Christmas trees too, so we are looking forward to going back in December to pick out our Christmas tree.
