11 months!!

 

 Wow my sweet baby is 11 months!! January 25, 2011, John Ashton turned 11 months. I think I am still in shock! I cannot believe that in a few short weeks we will be celebrating his 1st Birthday!!! AHHHHH! Where is the time going? 

This boy melts my heart!! So sweet!

I am not going to write my forever long monthly post, but I do want to highlight a few things for my memory. John Ashton is on track with his regular schedule. Sleeping good, eating like a champ, and he is still giving lots of hugs and kisses!! Those kisses have turned into a little biting but none the less he still grabs my face and plants a big, wet slobbery kiss that I would not trade for the world!!!

John Ashton's diet usually consist of whatever we are eating now, in smaller bites of course. He loves blackberries, blueberries, okra, strawberries, turkey, chicken, rice, mac and cheese, grilled cheese, ham, ravioli, green beans, sweet potatoes, peas, carrots, and whatever else we are eating. He still loves his rice teething biscuits, oatmeal for breakfast, and cheerios. Gotta have his cheerios!! 

Curiosity seems to be getting the best of us. He is like a tornado going from one room to the next and if we forget to shut the doors he will demolish a room in 2 seconds! He loves to empty the tupperware drawer, and tries to help unload the dishwasher, but I think until we stop exploring with our mouth we will save that chore for later. Thanks for trying to help, John Ashton. I love watching him play with his toys. He really checks them out and even gets frustrated when he can't figure it all out or if the toy is not doing what he wants it too. 

Walking is not really a interest to him yet. He will walk around the coffee table or along the couch, but if we grab his hand he just sits down. He tries to push his walking toys but once they start to move he hits his knees. I am in no way complaining... JA was an early crawler so I am in no hurry for him to be walking!! He gets where he wants to go quickly so I can only imagine what all he will find once he starts walking!?!?! 

 

John Ashton is such a happy little guy and so content most of the time. He is active, but I love it! He keeps me on my toes, and likes to remind me that my housework, projects, blogging, facebook, emails, and phone calls can be done while he is sleeping! We love this little guy and the blessing he is in our lives!

Getting into MiMi's cabinets!!

We have survived our first double ear infection too!!:(  Which was no fun for anyone. My sweet baby did not feel well most of the week and was very clingy!! I have to admit it was nice to have my snuggle bug back but not worth him feeling so bad. Happy to say that this week he seems to be feeling a little bit better, and I am glad that he is almost back to his normal self again.
